RESTAURANT MANAGER - HUKA LODGE - TAUPO

We’re now seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our talented Food & Beverage team and take our guest dining experience to new heights.

About the Role

Dining at Huka Lodge is a cherished ritual — guests gather to share stories, enjoy superb cuisine, and savour the best of New Zealand wine. As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be the face of this experience, curating memorable moments and guiding guests through a journey of taste and connection.

You’ll :

Bring New Zealand’s wine culture to life through storytelling and expert recommendations.
Work closely with the Lodge Manager and Executive Chef on menu design and wine pairings.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the F&B team to deliver exceptional yet relaxed service.
Manage rosters, training, and payroll to support operational success.
Ensure service levels and budgets are met with style and efficiency.

About You

You’re a natural leader — warm, engaging, and passionate about creating unforgettable dining experiences. You inspire your team and genuinely love great food, fine wine, and the art of hospitality.

You’ll bring :

3+ years’ experience in restaurant management within luxury hotels, fine dining, or boutique lodges.

Sound knowledge of New Zealand wines and local produce.

Strong financial and payroll management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with both guests and team members.
