Mo te Turanga | About the RoleWe sat down with the People Leader (who you'll report to) and they told us the following about the role :Manage release calendars and coordinate deployment of communication, business rules, and treatments across digital and external channels.Drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release readiness reviews.Ensure releases meet BNZ governance, brand, and regulatory standards with auditable documentation.Act as the central point of contact for release status, risks, and issues; provide timely updates and support capability uplift through best practice sharing and feedback loops.Track release metrics, manage impediments, and drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.Open, inclusive, and safe.Our team is super passionate about making a positive difference to customers and colleagues.
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing releases powered by Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH), ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant delivery of campaigns and decisioning logic across all channels.
This role is a key connector between marketing, decisioning, and technical teams, and is responsible for embedding agile delivery practices and continuous improvement.You will be part of building a world leading capability for customer engagement!
This is a new team with a clear mandate to shape the future of customer engagement at BNZ.
What technical skills are required forBachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field.Experience in marketing release management or campaign operations, ideally in a financial services or regulated environment.Familiarity with Pega Deployment Manager and release automation tools.Experience with agile delivery methodologies and sprint-based planning (Scrum, Scrumban).Knowledge of marketing analytics, personalization strategies, and customer journey design.Familiarity with integrating Pega CDH into external systems and channels.Strong understanding of marketing workflows and omnichannel orchestration.Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills.Ability to engender confidence at management levels.Able to develop productive relationships with industry providers and other users.Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies.Nau Mai ki te Peke o Aotearoa | Come to the Bank of New ZealandPlease note :Advertising for this position closes Monday 13 October at 11 : 59pm.We review applications as they are received and may close advertising early.This is an exciting opportunityto join us!We're bold thinkers who are taking brave steps to create a company that people want to work for, and customers want to bank with.
