Kelsey Yaralla Kindergarten
Kelsey Yaralla Kindergarten is situated in the heart of the university on the banks of Owheo. Our spacious learning environment is dynamic and well resourced, supporting children to be independent and confident learners. The beautiful outdoor space lends itself to the seasonal landscape and truly reflects a children’s garden which is what kindergarten means. Kelsey Yaralla Kindergarten is a full day all year kindergarten providing a safe and nurturing service for children to learn through play from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Port Chalmers Kindergarten
Port Chalmers Kindergarten is located in the port suburb of Port Chalmers ten kilometres from Dunedin city. Children attend our service from the many outlying communities. We are situated within walking distance to Port Chalmers Primary School who we make regular connections with. The community is intimately involved in the hub of this kindergarten. We are very proud of our outdoor area which reflects the local cultural context of a harbour town as well as the neighbouring Orokonui Eco Sanctuary with whom we have a working relationship for our Eco Warriors programme. We embrace diversity, value sustainable practice, and take care of our treasured environment. Children attend kindergarten 8.30am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday and we remain open during term breaks.
Rachel Reynolds Kindergarten
Rachel Reynolds Kindergarten is located in the heart of South Dunedin and our families come from across Dunedin. It is a culturally diverse community, and we work in partnership with other agencies and services to provide an inclusive local curriculum for all learners. Rachel Reynolds Kindergarten prides itself on its community spirit. Children attend kindergarten 8.30am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday and currently the kindergarten closes for term breaks.
