- We have an exciting opportunity within our askHR function for two motivated self-starters.
In these roles, you will be responsible for the coordination and high-level administrative support for the Human Resources function across Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern.
Our askHR service is a shared and collaborative resource which receives and triages all HR based enquiries from internal and external customers.
We support stakeholders with seamless, consistent advice, coordinate all HR related services and work creatively to achieve their deliverables.Alongside a very competitive salary and plenty of scope for development, you will be exposed to a wide range of processes which will certainly enhance your generalist HR skills.

Some key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :providing quality and timely first line support for our HR and Recruitment servicesproducing employment contracts and variations to a high standard, ensuring on-boarding processes are completed in fullproviding initial HR related advice to our customers, escalating complex matters to the relevant HR and Recruitment teams when appropriateensuring we not only meet but continually improve our compliance standards and processesorganising and hosting our bi-monthly 'Welcome' orientation sessions to new staff.Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is undergoing a period of change within our People and Culture function.We are looking for a team member to support the Southern team on a 12-month fixed-term basis whilst the national operating model is implemented.
In addition, we have a further vacancy to cover a period of Parental Leave for approximately nine-months.Whilst both roles are fixed-term at this stage, there may be potential opportunities for motivated candidates in the future.
