- About the role
- As the Credentialling Coordinator, you'll provide vital administrative coordination for the medical credentialling and scope of practice processes.
This role is central to maintaining robust systems that ensure our SMOs meet professional standards and compliance requirements.
Working closely with senior clinicians, HR, and governance teams, you will :coordinate and maintain the end-to-end credentialling and re-credentialling process for SMOsprepare and manage documentation for credentialling committees and meetingsmaintain accurate records and databases to ensure compliance with national and organisational policiesliaise with medical staff, managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of credentialling requirementssupport process improvements and the implementation of digital credentialling systems.About the Team / Service / LocationHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.We take pride in all the services we provide, and our aim is to improve, promote and protect the health of our region.
