Ready for that next step in your career? A rare opportunity for a part-time Branch Supervisor has opened up at our Christchurch Airport location where we have decided to split the role so now have 2 positions available where you will assist and oversee all operational functions.

As we operate 6 days a week, Monday to Friday from 07.30 - 16.00 and Saturday from 08.00 - 12.00.

For these positions we are looking for someone to work 24 Hrs per week and 28 Hrs every second week as follows :

Monday to Wednesday and every 2nd Saturday

Wednesday to Friday and every 2nd Saturday

About the Role

You will ensure our customers have a positive experience by providing a superior level of customer service processing rental transactions, and ensuring we have vehicles groomed and readily available for our customers at our counters.

Further to the above you will coordinate the daily activities of the team and where needed, train, coach and direct the team in their duties. Noncompliance with established policies and procedures must be reported to management. You will also assist Manager with preparing shift schedules and reports.

To be successful in this role you will need :

Previous managerial and / or leadership experience with proven experience in coaching and developing team members, delivering feedback, and managing performance of team members (highly advantageous but not essential).

Demonstrated ability to exercise judgement, problem solve and show initiative.

Experience in complaints handling, conflict resolution and negotiation.

Possesses competent planning and organisation skills and can multitask.

Ability to competently use Microsoft office suite and learn new systems and software quickly and efficiently.

Current and Full NZ Drivers Licence.
