Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Coordinate, assign and review work
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization

    • Qualifications

  • Education : College, CEGEP, or ≥1-year non-university certificate / diploma
  • Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years in inventory control or related field
  • Supervision : Ability to manage 16-20 people
  • Computer skills : Electronic scheduler, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Windows
  • Physical : Able to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs); fast-paced environment; work under pressure; meet tight deadlines; attention to detail
  • Personal suitability : Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral & written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, team player
