OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Advisor - Wai2750 role at Te Tuapapa Kura Kainga – Ministry of Housing and Urban Development NZ.The Wai 2750 Senior Advisor will contribute to the Crown's response to Wai 2750, which hears Maori evidence and lived experience of Crown housing policy and services.
The Inquiry will strengthen Crown and Maori partnerships so, together, we can provide long-term housing solutions that reset the housing system.This role is in Te Kahui, HUD's Maori Crown relations team focused on improving Maori housing and urban development outcomes, for, with and by Maori.
You will partner with HUD's stakeholders to drive Crown outcomes for the Inquiry, building and managing constructive working relationships across functions and with external stakeholders to achieve the Crown's desired results for the Inquiry.ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation of the Crown's approach for Stage Two of the Inquiry.Foster and develop relationships within HUD and with other agencies to ensure delivery of the Crown's approach.Understand the housing issues raised by claimants and the Crown's housing policies.SalaryThe salary range for this role is $105,780 - $129,286 plus a 3% KiwiSaver contribution.
