We have a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver transport infrastructure projects, supporting the NZ Transport Agency vision of efficiently delivering an integrated, safe, responsive and sustainable transport system, keeping New Zealand moving.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture close collaboration with all partners, including local iwi, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Lead projects through stages that may include investment case development, planning, procurement, detailed design and physical works.
• Manage a project team composed of internal and external professional personnel.
• Ensure project outcomes align with NZ Transport Agency’s desired outcomes and are best for the project.
• Represent the Project Delivery team in engagement with teams across NZTA, local authorities and development partners.
• Provide technical leadership across key projects that deliver tangible benefits for the wider community.
• Maintain strong relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills with senior leaders.

Remuneration

We are looking to appoint between $110,000 – 130,000 depending on skills and experience.
