About the role

Join the University of Waikato as our Scholarships Team Leader (Undergraduate) and lead the management of our undergraduate scholarships, bursaries, and prizes, including school leaver awards. In this role, you’ll provide leadership to our Scholarships Advisors, ensure the smooth delivery of efficient student-focused services, and contribute your expertise to developing and refining scholarship processes and regulations. You’ll also work closely with internal teams and external partners to grow our undergraduate scholarships portfolio and provide high-level support to the Dean of the School of Graduate Research, the Scholarships committees, and other key partners.

Salary will be in the range of $99,865 to $110,392 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Who are we?

Te Mata Kairangi School of Graduate Research sits under the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research. The School is responsible for the strategic leadership and provision of services and administrative support for all scholarships, awards and prizes, and postgraduate higher research degree programmes at the University of Waikato.
