This is a permanent position, with weekly guaranteed hours at least 45 & a gross pay rate of $36 per hour, time & a half for overtime hours. You must be a reliable keen worker who turns up on time & is willing to learn & grow with the business.

Currently working in mining, structural steel, transport repairs, quarry crushing, forestry, cowshed work & other general maintenance including boats, car trailers & farm implements. A very broad range.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows :
Bucket repairs, ie re-skinning, new GET replacement, crack repairs, line boring of bushes
Boom repairs on jumbo', solos's & drilling machinery
Accident damage on underground vehicle panelling
Re-skinning crack repairs on truck tubs
Fabrication of cradles, cages, lifting booms & all other underground implements
Repairs & manufacturing of underground machinery components
Line boring of centre hitches, booms & buckets
Mostly machine shop type work but also hydraulic cylinders, new builds and / or repairs
Bearing repairs
House beams, handrails & portals, site installation, sandblasting & painting
Full cowshed manufacturing to basic handrail repairs & farm implement repairs
Engineering parts manufacture & repairs, such as tub, re-skinning truck tubs & tail gate, hoist, ring feeder / tow bar, draw beams
We are looking for a reliable person who is :
Relevant trade certification or welding ticket would be preferred
Excellent knowledge of sound engineering principles
Be self-motivated & capable of working both independently & within a tight knit team of supportive engineering tradesmen
At least 3 years of relevant experience or a relevant Level 4 qualification
Welding tickets would be preferred
Excellent knowledge of sound engineering principles
Worked with heavy & light steel
