About the role
As our IT Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for technical support across the business. You'll provide timely assistance to both local and remote users, resolving issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems. This hands-on role includes supporting hardware and software setups, PC builds and imaging, and assisting with basic server and network tasks. You'll play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and escalating complex issues when needed.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Provide front-line support to end-users on software and hardware related issues across the Global IT user base, in accordance with company policy and IT standards.
Provide timely, accurate and appropriate responses to customer queries.
Investigate and resolve application or data issues using a variety of tools and resources
Ensures backup and recovery strategies are in place across all environments.
Carefully evaluate alternative risks and solutions before acting to provide timely resolution.
Approach support with a proactive attitude, desire to seek root cause, in-depth analysis, and strive to reduce inefficiencies and manual efforts.
Pick-up incoming calls and provide technical support to our users
Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude at all times.
Where applicable, call back users as per the promised timelines and take complete ownership of their issues.
What You'll Bring :
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience :
2-3 year's industry experience working in a Help Desk or similar environment.
Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server.
Experience in an Active Directory, Intune, Entra and Azure AD environment and basic network troubleshooting.
Experience in a Critical Incident Management is an added advantage.
Works as an effective team member, leading, guiding & inspiring others.
Communicates well at all levels : shares ideas and contributes.
