We continue to work with others to achieve equity in key health indicators for Maaori, Pacific and communities with health disparities and will continue to develop and implement plans, based on local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of Counties Manukau region.

Our main sites are Middlemore Hospital, Kidz First Hospital and Manukau Health Park.We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealands national health service.

HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

The focus of this position is to promote effective service user care, ensure appropriate resources are available to support clinicians to work at the top of their scope of practice.You will be required to work alongside the Team Manager to provide leadership, co-ordination and day to day oversight of clinical service delivery with the team.

This will include acting as a clinical resource to the team including coaching, mentoring and facilitating evidence based best practice and ensuring new staffs receive a robust orientation.

You will also participate in performance reviews and contribute to professional development processes for the teams multidisciplinary staff.

You will take an active role in auditing and quality initiatives.
