Are you ready to join a team that values kindness and relationships above all else? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated team leader to join our preschool room of 30 tamariki. Our philosophy is built on the foundation of strong relationships – where children, caregivers, whānau, community, and the environment are all seen as equal partners. We believe in the values of manakitanga and whānaungatanga, creating a culture of kindness and mutual respect in everything we do.

As a privately owned centre, our owner is deeply involved and has many years experience in leadership with a strong vision. We are passionate about the philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Emmi Pikler, and have a hunger to learn and grow.

The ideal candidate will have

• at least 5 years of New Zealand contextual experience,
• demonstrate our values in their practice,
• possess some leadership experience,
• be organised, patient, and adaptable,
• and have a working knowledge of the Reggio philosophy,
• they should also be open to collaboration, reflection, and continuous learning.
