Overview

NZ Holiday Retail Assistants Expressions of Interest 2025. We are looking for Retail Assistants (Summer hosts) to support our New Zealand stores during the lead up to one of the busiest times of the year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and create authentic connections with customers
• Play a key role in supporting the wider team with on-floor presence during holiday periods and adapt to changing needs as required
• Work effectively as part of the team to support running the store in a safe, fun and efficient manner

What success looks like

Availability

As a Retail Assistant (Summer Host) we anticipate shifts from late October 2025 to mid-February 2026, subject to business needs and your availability.

Employment terms

Your employment is subject to a 90 day trial period under the Employment Relations Act 2000, commencing on your Employment Commencement date. During the trial, the Company may dismiss you with one week’s written notice (or payment in lieu of notice). If terminated during the trial period, you will not be entitled to pursue a personal grievance or other legal proceedings in respect of the dismissal.
