A bit about the role
In this role not only will you need to have strong personal values which align with ours, you will need a work ethic that is second to none as this will be the true key to your success.
This is a great opportunity to use your leadership and organisational skills, as you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of checkouts and customer services.
You\'ll lead a team and motivate them to deliver great customer service to every customer, every time.
You\'ll use your communication and problem solving ability to help the team navigate tricky purchases and solve problems for our customers.
This role is full time, and rostered Sunday - Thursday.
Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is looking for a retail professional with background in supervisory roles, and Customer Service experience to take on this full time role.
Ideally the successful candidates will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude!
For this position we are looking for a candidate who has :
A passion for GREAT customer service at all times
Experience in supervising and leading a team, or experience as a senior team member with the desire to lead
Ability to maximise team productivity
Ability to manage a varied and busy workload
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions
General computer skills and understanding of administrative process
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Knowledge and understanding of health & safety systems / processes
Be physically fit as there will be prolonged walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting
This will be a busy role, and no two days will be the same.
You will need to beadaptable, customer obsessed, collaborative, positive and passionate aboutmaintaining a safe working environment.
