• An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our excellent, friendly and dynamic Quality Assurance and Quality Control team that support our licensed and unlicensed Pharmacy facilities including a Radiopharmacy unit, and aseptic dispensing unit, registered dispensaries, a clinical trials service and a licensed pharmacy stores and medicines procurement service.Main duties of the jobThe main duties of this role areDay to day management of the Pharmacy Quality Management systemSupporting the Quality Assurance lead in promoting and facilitating the development of effective quality systems, risk assurance and compliance management across the Pharmacy department.Organising the day to day activities of the service under the direction of the Quality Assurance leadSupporting the Quality Control Officer and Quality Assurance technician in prioritisation of workload and task allocationSupporting and delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control training activitiesSupporting internal audit activitiesAbout usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people.
