Are you a passionate and qualified early childhood educator looking for an enriching opportunity to make a difference in the lives of tamariki?
We are seeking a dedicated and registered kaiako to join our centre which is attached to the Teen Parent Unit at William Colenso College.
Start date is for 26 th January
Responsibilities
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for mixed-aged tamariki.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and experiences.
Foster positive relationships with both tamariki and whanau (families).
Collaborate with a team of educators to ensure the highest standard of care and education.
Qualifications
Fully qualified and registered early childhood teacher.
Strong understanding of Te Whariki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum.
Passion for working with mixed-aged groups and promoting holistic child development.
Effective communication skills and ability to engage positively with whanau.
Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Working conditions
Term time only, offering a healthy work-life balance.
Monday to Friday schedule, providing consistency for both staff and tamariki.
Opportunity to work in a centre with a maximum capacity of 38 tamariki.
Extended pay parity rates to acknowledge and reward your dedication and expertise.
