Dairy Farm Assistant - Landsdown Dairy

The OpportunityJoin the high-performing team at Landsdown Dairy, as a Dairy Farm Assistant.

In this role, you'll assist with a range of farm tasks — from milking, calving, and feeding stock, to effluent management, spraying, and fencing.You'll play an important part in the day-to-day operations and work closely with your team to help meet production and animal welfare goals.You'll receive full training and support, and we'll encourage you to take the initiative, develop your skills, and support newer team members along the way.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a great work ethic and a passion for farming.Enjoy being part of a culture that values safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.The FarmLandsdown Dairy covers approximately 262 effective hectares and features a composting barn system.

Located just 10 minutes south of Balclutha, we milk 650 cows through a 50-bail rotary equipped with ACRs and Milk Hub technology.Recreational opportunities abound, both on-farm and nearby.

The property and surrounding region offer access to excellent hunting and fishing, with rivers, forests, and coastline all within easy reach.

Hiking and biking trails wind through scenic landscapes, while local beaches and waterways provide plenty of options for kayaking, boating, and swimming.
