Overview

Our Silver Fern Farms Finegand Processing Site in Balclutha employs 1200+ Team Members at the height of the season.

Located 20 minutes south of Milton, an hour east of Gore, and an hour south of Dunedin.

On one hand, you're playing a key role in ensuring our work environments are clean, safe and hygienic, and ready for production the next day, and on the other hand you're earning great money while spending your work hours with an awesome team.

Te Mahi, Our Working Arrangements

Complete your on-the-job training and earn a minimum of $31.60 / hr.

Usually, 40 hours per week during peak production season, plus overtime opportunities.

Minimum $43 / hr production overtime rate.

During peak season, hours of work generally fall between 8 : 00pm - 5 : 30am.

When processing only on dayshift, hours generally fall between 4pm - 12.30am.

All work clothing and safety gear is provided.

No experience?

No problem, we provide all the training you need.

You're an active team member who can work closely with others and bring a positive, hardworking attitude.

Be comfortable and confident handling chemicals and using cleaning equipment

Able to understand and follow health and safety, quality, and technical compliance requirements.

Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Must be 18 years or older to meet audit requirements.

Able to pass our pre-employment medical checks, criminal convictions check, and physical fitness requirements.
