We are looking for a Fixed Term (December
You will enhance personal wellbeing through the promotion of collaboration, social change, development, and empowerment of people and families.
Key tasks will be to : Show acceptance, inclusion and genuine interest in people, their experiences, and future aspirations.
To listen, relate and affirm people in such a way that they are encouraged to identify and create solutions that increase skills, coping abilities and resilience.
To provide advocacy and support that role models increased confidence in people managing important issues in their lives.
To refer clients and journey with them to engage with internal and external services that support achievement of personal goals.
Good computer and writing skills.
A team player and a quick learner.
Our ideal person will have : Relevant tertiary qualifications to social services or similar required.
Experience of at least 2 years working in case-management, and delivery of holistic wrap-around support.
Ability to understand and relate to people from diverse backgrounds, who are experiencing hardship, trauma, life challenges.
Ability and commitment to engage and journey with people providing support for personal responsibility and motivation to achieve own goals.
Ability to adapt approach to the needs and interest of the presenting people.
A proactive solution focused approach using maturity and empathy in problem solving and reduction of barriers to achieving outcomes.
