About the Role
The role of Outreach Key Worker – Kaimahi Mataamua Totoro Whānui involves daily outreach within Auckland CBD and surrounds to support rough sleeping individuals. Outreach key workers provide coordination and support to access health, housing and other social services, guided by Housing First and Tāiki principles. You will engage proactively, use case management and advocacy skills, build trust, and address immediate and long‑term needs with a strengths‑based approach. The majority of work occurs in community public spaces, but also includes Mission sites and emergency housing. This position offers an entry point to further career development within Auckland Mission.
