People and Culture Coordinator (Maternity Leave Cover)

If you are looking for an HR role that is fun, varied and provides you a platform to elevate your career in the HR space then this is the role for you! You will be a part of a small yet high performing team of three that integrate at all levels of the business. We are looking for the right candidate for a 14‑month fixed term maternity leave cover.

About the role

This role reports to and works closely with the GM of People and Culture and will have a key focus on administration, coordination and maintenance of all day‑to‑day HR functions as well as the provision of ‘front line’ HR business support. This is an exciting opportunity to get exposure to a range of employee related activities in a fast‑paced and fun environment.

In this position you will be :

  • Providing HR administration and coordination support
  • Coordinating the end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, which may include conducting interviews with recruiting managers
  • Assisting in the preparation of employment related documentation including IEA’s and variation letters
  • Coordinating the delivery of the remuneration review process and related data preparation
  • Assisting with employee engagement, wellbeing program and ad‑hoc internal employee communication materials
  • Maintaining HR systems (ELMO) and files, and proactively looking for opportunities to add value to the team and wider business

    You have :

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • A passion for HR administration and coordination

  • A mature, professional and confidential approach
  • You are :

  • Proficient with technology (advanced / intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, desirable)
  • Able to effectively organise, prioritise and multi‑task
  • Proactive and positive and have a “can‑do” and adaptable attitude
  • Ideally, you have :

  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation (ERA, HA, HASWA, etc.)
  • HRIS system experience (ELMO preferred)
  • As part of our standard pre‑employment requirements, you must be able to obtain security clearance from Aviation Security Services, complete a Ministry of Justice background check and pass a drug / alcohol test.
