We are seeking a Mechanic to join our team at the North Shore depot.

You'll service an extensive range of vehicles and equipment, including tractors, trucks, Utes, mowers, and more.What You'll Be DoingAssist mechanics in completing project work efficientlyTackle advanced vehicle electrical issues and perform heavy vehicle engine workDiagnose vehicle failures, remove and replace parts as neededConduct preventive maintenance, repair, or replace broken partsExecute other support duties as required for smooth operationsPlace part orders and record charges to the vehicle accountCheck all work and ensure defect-free assembly before the final inspectionRead job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles to determine malfunctions and plan work proceduresReassemble equipment after inspections, testing, or repairsDocument all work performed and recommended on the repair orderEnsure compliance with safety rules, regulations, and LTSA / NZTA standardsWhat We're Looking ForRelevant mechanical trade certifications and 3+ years of hands-on experienceProven expertise in engine repair, machine assembly and disassembly, and exhaust systemsSharp critical thinking skills coupled with meticulous attention to detailExcellent communication skills, delivering diagnoses to customers with a positive and reassuring attitudeProficiency in fixing parts on diverse vehicles, including tractors, trucks, utes, and mowersLeadership abilities, ready to lend support to team members when requiredWhat We Can Offer YouAs part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with other professionals, gain further knowledge and experience, and develop your career in horticulture.
