MECHANIC

We are Auckland based company and looking for a full time Mechanic to join our team. We need someone who will be a vibrant person with great people skills, a positive approach to their work and the ability to cope with pressure and remain calm and professional throughout the day. Your Working hours will be minimum of 30 hours to maximum 45 hours from Monday – Sunday and Saturday if required. You may require working on weekends and public holidays.

Job Duties for Mechanic :

• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
• Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions
• Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly.
• Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
• Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
• May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.
• Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil, and rotating tires
• Must be physical fit.
• May respond to vehicle breakdown service calls.

Key Requirements :

Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $28 to $35 per hour.
