If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be Automotive Technician / Mechanic in our team.

Position Summary :

Title : Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Wage : $30.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

Location : Penrose, Auckland

Employment Type : Permanent – Full-time

Hours of Work : 45 hours per week (30 hours guaranteed), from Monday to Friday 8 : 00am to 5 : 30pm.

An employee may be required to work on weekend and up to 52 hours per week.

Tasks include :

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical / electrical components to diagnose issues accurately;
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and update;
• Perform hybrid battery diagnostics, servicing, and replacement;
• Repair mechanical and electrical faults in motor vehicles and replace parts when required;
• Utilise diagnostic tools and scanning equipment to identify faults and performance issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and general mechanical work as needed to ensure road worthiness and longevity;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards at the workshop;
• Provide high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service;
• Contribute to weekly "toolbox meetings" and company policies and procedures.
