Motor Mechanic

Motor Mechanic wanted, Workplace : Auckland

We have several branches across NZ. We are looking for multiple Motor Mechanics to join our Auckland Branch. This is a full time role with a minimum 30 hours per week.

This role is to repair, maintain and test motor vehicles and related mechanical components.

Tasks include :

• Perform tasks to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle components.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle parts for inspection and assessment.
• Repair or replace faulty and defective components, and reassemble mechanical systems following service manual guidelines.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups, to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
• Reassemble engines and vehicle parts after repairs are completed.
• Test and adjust mechanical components post-repair to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and test parts using electronic diagnostic tools and equipment.
