Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Heavy Diesel mechanic to join our Auckland workshop in East Tamaki.

As an experienced workshop mechanic your role will focus on the repair and maintenance of both heavy plant and trucks.

You will be working alongside a team of experienced mechanics who work together to solve problems in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment and associated plant.

Collaborate with a team of mechanics to diagnose and solve problems in a safe environment.

Based from the East Tamaki branch and contribute to a supportive team culture.

What you'll bring to the role

Minimum 3 years\' experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment

Experience working on plant such as diggers, graders, loaders, dozers, milling equipment

Level 4 Trade qualification or similar is preferred

Class 2-5 licence highly sought after

Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail

Committed to a safety-first culture

Availability to work on an on-call roster

Competitive hourly rate between $40 to $50

Full-time permanent role, hours between 40-55 per week

Based from our branch in East Tamaki
