This role is suited to someone who is meticulous, analytical, and experienced in leading testing initiatives. As a Software Specialist - Testing, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, driving quality assurance strategies, and mentoring others in best practices.

You'll work across squads to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our digital platforms. Your insights will help shape the future of our testing practice and influence the direction of our software development. This is a role where your technical leadership will directly impact ASB's success and the experience of our customers.

As a seasoned testing expert, you'll bring deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset to elevate our testing capabilities. You'll lead by example, champion quality, and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

You Will Bring The Following

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, with the ability to design and execute comprehensive test strategies
• Proven experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g. Specflow, C# Selenium, Appium, Java, C# in Visual Studio)
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
• Experience working in Agile environments and adapting to evolving priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Exposure to CI / CD tools such as Octopus & Azure DevOps
• Experience in API automation testing
• Nice to have : Mobile automation and performance testing experience
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
• Passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement in testing practices
