OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a dynamic Agile squad working on a large-scale digital uplift programme.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, with strong scope for professional growth and development.What you'll doTesting & Analysis – Execute manual and automated tests, analyse results, and identify issues across new features and bug fixes.Collaboration – Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring shared quality ownership.Test Automation & CI / CD – Create, update, and maintain automated test scripts, supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines.Bug Investigation – Reproduce, document, and escalate defects with detailed information to aid efficient resolution.Quality Leadership – Mentor junior testers, shape testing strategies for new initiatives, and be the go-to person for quality-related practices.What you'll bring5+ years' experience in manual and automation frameworks.Strong background in Java, REST Assured, Postman / Insomnia, and Cypress.Hands-on experience with AWS ECS / EKS and Openshift testing.Skilled in API testing, SQL database validation, and JMeter for performance / load testing.Ability to create test strategies and maintain comprehensive test documentation.Familiarity with Agile ways of working (Scrum or Kanban).
