Role

: Technical Test Lead.

You will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements, lead test execution and defect management, and implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc.

You should be able to mentor and guide team members and contribute to solutions and approaches for QA proposals for our customers.

Location

: New Zealand, Australia.

Salary

: AUD $101,232 – $102,031 Annual Gross.

Academics and Work Experience requirements

Participate in agile meetings during each iteration to understand user stories and create a robust set of automatable test cases.

Design, develop, automate and execute tests to validate solutions and environments.

Identify, report, and manage defects in the defect tracking system.

Work with the development team to understand what changes in the software affect which tests.

Collaborate with manual testers to identify which testable components are automatable.

Identify, create and maintain automated regression suites.

Continuous collaboration with the agile team including developers, business analysts and product owners throughout the product lifecycle.

Provide feedback to the development team to ensure solutions are testable.

Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

Must have skills

Sound knowledge / Hands-on experience with SpecFlow / Cypress, C#, Java, SQL.

Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.

Proficiency in API automation in SpecFlow, C#.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.

Nice to have – Experience using X-ray (Test Management Tool).

Good communication skills.
