Role
We are on the lookout to find an experienced Tapuhi Hapori (Community Nurse) to join our Early Years Health Services team. The Tapuhi Hapori (Community Nurse) is responsible for the provision of primary health care services to whanau in the community. This role will work across our Early Years Health services. The Community Nurse is responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic partnership with patients and their whaanau to achieve optimum health and well-being through appropriate assessment, critical analysis of clinical information, clinical reasoning, care planning, intervention, evaluation and education. Flexibility is key as this role also involves advocating for whaanau and working across diverse settings, including clinics, homes, and community spaces, to maximise health and well-being outcomes. This role is based in Taamaki Makaurau with occasional travel to the Waikato when required. This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday from 8 : 30am to 5pm.
