About The Role
You will work within a team environment and culture that enhances the well-being of Whanau and delivers services in a culturally appropriate manner, consistent with the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You will use your well-developed clinical skills to provide patient centred care with a strong focus on Tikanga Maori based health solutions.

What You Have To Do
Triage patients and deliver appropriate clinical interventions
Provide health screening assessments
Assist with minor surgery and medical procedures
Follow up test results and initiate ongoing nursing support
Inform and educate patients and their whanau about health related matters
Assist patients and whanau to access health services
Develop and maintain links with Maori, community, professional agencies and patient groups
Skills & Experience
NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate
Authorised vaccinator and CPR certification
NZ Nursing experience, preferably in the primary care sector
Experience with diabetes management is advantageous
Strong understanding of Maori culture, perspectives and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to communicate effectively and develop productive relationships
