Third Wheel Coffee Co. is a cozy café tucked away in Paihia, known for its specialty coffee, home-baked treats, & strong connections.

We're looking for 2 experienced Chefs.

Ideal candidate should have Strong baking skills & minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen; excellent understanding of food safety & hygiene practices; physical fitness & good character; flexibility as Industry works 24x7 all days of the year including weekends, public holidays & school holidays as per business demands.

Preparing and presenting a simple, high-quality cabinet menu that complements our coffee.

Preparing Sourdoughs & other breads, Pastries and Croissants

Helping develop new recipes and seasonal menu items that reflect our values and customer demand.

Always keeping the kitchen area clean including doing the dishes, moping, etc.

Managing stock, ordering, and reducing food waste.

Always ensuring food safety and health & safety compliance.

Supporting the front-of-house when needed – from clearing dishes to taking customer orders – and always delivering exceptional hospitality.
