Work Group Manager - Water

An opportunity for a senior or principal water engineer to lead a high-performing team of engineers and consultants and project delivery specialists, from entry talent to principal level. With a strong pipeline across a variety of clients and waters, we are open to the type of water engineering experience as long as a proven record of technical and commercial excellence as well as continually developing the team is in your repertoire.

Whilst this is a strategic leadership role, your technical skill is valued and you will continue to develop your technical area of interest in conjunction with project governance, contributing to bids and proposals and continually improving on the very high engagement of the team.

About You

• Whilst we are interested to hear from water or general civil engineers, we are particularly keen to hear from those with asset management and hydraulic modelling experience
• Minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience
• Ideally you have substantial experience in leading teams, however we are keen to hear from you if you are earlier in your leadership journey
• Chartered Professional Engineer, or working towards it
• Strong organisational skills to optimise and prioritise competing demands.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
• A team player, authentic, trustworthy empathetic and relationship-driven
• Having a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional development of yourself and others
• Committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
