We are looking for an enthusiastic EAL Assistant to join our vibrant and well-resourced Language faculty.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting teaching staff with resource adaptation, vocabulary lists, etc.
1 : 1 and small group tuition
In-class support and liaising with teachers regarding strategies
Supporting / conducting testing of new and returning students
Administration tasks such as updating Kamar
Position Requirements
Proven experience working with EAL learners across CEFR levels, a range of year levels, and different cultural / language backgrounds
TEFL training (or similar)
An understanding of the New Zealand curriculum, NCEA and IB
Experience working as part of a team to support a common goal
Experience in a secondary school setting is preferred
