Sunday to Tuesday 4 : 00pm-8 : 15pm | 12.75 hours per week, starting rate $28.63 per hour
Wednesday to Saturday 4 : 00pm-8 : 15pm | 17 hours per week, starting rate $28.63 per hourBenefits include :

About the role
The CafSupervisor supports and guides the caf team every day. They make sureeverything runs smoothly, customers get great service, and we follow all foodsafety and operational standards. They help the team do their best work, ontime and with a focus on our customers.Our team works within a fast-paced environmentrunning 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
About You
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who can bring their exceptional skill and passion to our team.Adaptability is essential as the successful candidate will berequired to work across multiple work areas and complete a variety of tasks.
In this role you will beresponsible for :
Customer Experience & Quality Control :
Lead the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Ensure all food and beverages meet the highest standards for quality, presentation, and timeliness.
Team Leadership & Development :
Provide daily guidance, coaching, and support to your front-of-house team. Foster a positive, professional, and customer-focused environment.
Operational Excellence :
Lead the team on the floor to ensure smooth operation of the caf , including cash reconciliation, stock ordering, waste control, and visual merchandising. Ensure all equipment and systems (POS, app) are functioning correctly.
Safety & Compliance :
Champion and uphold the food control plan, hygiene practices, and all health & safety procedures. Ensure all staff understand and follow these critical standards.
To succeed in this role, you will have :
Essential :
At least 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a caf or retail food service, including team supervision.
Demonstrated understanding of caf operations, including food safety and compliance, team leadership, stock management, executing operational excellence, POS systems, cash handling.
Basic digital literacy skills for record keeping and communication; confident with Microsoft Suite and relevant caf software (e.g., rostering, inventory, POS).
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
Basic barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation.
Desired :
Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Retail, or Frontline Management (e.g., NZQA Level 4 equivalent).
NZQA Assessor certification.
