Join us as a Lead STMS supporting the Banks Peninsula Road Maintenance contract!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced traffic management professional to join our Banks peninsula team as a lead STMS, to assist with the successful operation and delivery of the CCC Banks Peninsula Road Maintenance Contract.

In this role, you will be involved in designing risk-based traffic management plans, while also playing a key role in temporary traffic management implementation out in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring traffic management standards are met by both yourself and the team to ensure the safety of our teams and the public at all times.

In a

ddition to the above you will :

Supervise temporary traffic management on various worksites across the peninsula, in line with current codes of practice and NZGTTM.

Assist with transitioning to the NZGTTM, risk-based traffic management approach.

Ensure Traffic Management Plans and site setups meet client requirements, programs and schedules inclusive of Safety, Quality, and Environmental components.

Design and implement risk-based traffic management plans for the Banks Peninsula maintenance department.

Train and develop Banks Peninsula maintenance staff to effectively deliver temporary traffic management.

We're

looking for someone with :

Level 1 STMS qualification

Full Class 1 drivers' licence (and / or work towards a Class 2 licence)

Minimum 3 years' experience in traffic management

A proactive approach to health and safety – it's our #1 priority!

Outstanding leadership skills, with proven experience supervising and leading others.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders.

General computer literacy and competent user of MS Office suite.
