Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll gain hands-on experience in installing, testing, and restoring signal equipment.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and you'll be supported with training to build your technical skills and confidence.This is a practical role where no two days are the same.

You may be based at your local depot with some travel and overnight stays required.Nga pukenga e rapu nei matou | What you will bringWe welcome receiving applications from candidates who have basic trade skills, are keen to learn, enjoy practical work, and can work well in a team.

You'll bring : Electrical practicing licence is preferableNCEA Level 1 in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent)A full Class 1 driver's licenceGood communication skills and a team-focused attitudeCommitment to safety – for yourself and those around youPhysical fitness for hands-on, outdoor workIt would also be great if you have : Previous experience in manual or technical workA current First Aid / CPR certificateElectrical registration or related trainingNou te rourou | What's in it for youAt KiwiRail, your development matters.
