Primarily located at the main site in Ashburton you will also travel to Christchurch and North Island sites as required.Day to day financial transactions are processed by a centrally managed team, freeing you up to focus on value-added activities and more complex financial analysis to support the business.What will you do?

Drive commercial improvements in Operations, in coordination with manufacturing and distribution site managersSupport the Sales team on large business development opportunities to maximise profitability.Be responsible for business planning, forecasting and performance analysis for the Agriculture market segment and South Island sites.Be responsible for providing commercial and financial input to, and oversight of, capital spend for the whole of NZ.

You will provide decision-making support in the creation of major business cases and oversee monthly forecasting and performance reporting for all CAPEX projects.Provide financial insights to support strategic projects that focus on business growth and improvement.Actively participate in building a safety-first culture and support Aliaxis national, regional & global safety standards deployment.About YouYou are a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen who can translate financial data into meaningful insightsYou are eager to develop a deep understanding of both internal and external customers and are committed to exceeding their expectations.You can demonstrate a solutions-focused approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in business processes.Demonstrated track record in commercial management resulting in business growthYou have experience in managing the financial aspects of CAPEX projects from business case through to post implementation reviews.You have experience in engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver the best possible outcomes.Technical SkillsCA Certification (or recognised equivalent) with strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience.Extensive experience in cost accounting, project accounting, or operational finance and a background in manufacturing or supply chain.Expertise in Financial modelling skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and practical experience with Power BIWhy join us?
