Waitākere RTLB Cluster 5 has a vacancy for a full-time permanent RTLB starting in term 1, 2026. This is your opportunity to make an impact for children and young people who have additional learning support needs.

We are looking for teachers with excellent classroom practice, an understanding of how children learn, and the ability to lead and work with others to create good outcomes for children.

We are an enthusiastic team of RTLBs who are passionate about our ākonga and are willing to do whatever it takes to enable them to be the best that they can be.

Experience and a proven ability to work with Māori and Pacific communities will be an advantage. Experience as an RTLB and having completed the RTLB training is also advantageous.

Successful applicants will be required to complete the RTLB post‑graduate qualification. A NZ driver's licence and use of own car is required.
