Teach Health & Wellbeing L4, empowering learners through bicultural, learner-focused education grounded in social justice and kaupapa Maori.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to Health & Wellbeing education.
The role is underpinned by principles of social justice, bicultural practice and empowering others to promote personal and social change.
The focus of this role is teaching on the NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 4.
This role will suit somene who has experience working in the wider Health & Wellbeing sector, who is committed to changing lives through opportunities brought about by education.
Prior teaching experience is desirable, although not essential.
A learner focused approach to supporting students to achieve desired aspirations and outcomes is essential.
You will demonstrate a practical commitment to Tiriti o Waitangi and building knowledge of te ao Maori and be confident in applying kaupapa Maori principles and matauranga Maori to learning and development in the programme.
Minimum qualification a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Capable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes.
The ability to develop and implement flexible teaching and learning methods, including the use of learning technologies
Digital literacy including - competence using a computer (including Microsoft office products)

Works collaboratively and co-operatively, contributes to teams.
