We're looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our Takapuna-based Auckland team.This isn't a churn-and-burn sales role.

You'll meet with prospects through our marketing efforts and partnerships, but your success will come from building a deep understanding of Zendesk and our broader ecosystem of solutions and using this knowledge to build relationships with your customers.It's very important that you are an experienced sales practitioner and know how to add value to your customers by asking the right questions at the right time so you can better solve the challenges that they face.You'll work consultatively with successful NZ businesses, showing them how to design and apply technology in ways that deliver real impact.You'll also bring a modern social selling approach— posting on LinkedIn, documenting wins, and building your presence as a trusted advisor.

We'll support you with training and a strong technical team, but the expectation is that you'll grow your technical fluency over time and be able to communicate value at a deeper level than a "typical" salesperson.

What You'll Do

Meet with qualified prospects and run consultative discovery sessions.

Use BANT and SPIN Selling to qualify and progress opportunities.

Learn and apply technical knowledge of Zendesk + ecosystem solutions.

Post on LinkedIn and use social selling to support the sales process.

Collaborate with the Zendesk NZ team and our technical services team to win and deliver projects.

What We're Looking For

3+ years' SaaS or tech sales experience.

Confidence in technical / consultative selling (with support to learn deeper skills).

Strong communication and storytelling ability.

Willingness to build a LinkedIn presence and contribute to content.
