Job Description

Te kaupapa o te turanga - The purpose of the role

Hours of work :

Sunday and Monday - 12pm to 8 : 30pm

Tuesday to Thursday - 8 : 30am to 4pm

Trading 2IC

Are you ready to take your first step into leadership?

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as our Trading 2IC!

As the Trading 2IC, you will assist the Trading Manager with everything Shopfloor related, including The Entertainment and Technology departments and the Price Integrity function.

You will demonstrate great leadership of the teams in these areas.

You will actively promote a safe environment, and ensure all legal trading requirements are met.

You will ensure planograms are maintained and promotions are set up correctly.

We value teamwork and see it as essential.

We are looking for an ambitious candidate who is starting their career with The Warehouse.

Entertainment

We are looking for a superstar for our Entertainment department, to help our customers with all their entertainment needs, whether it be preparing them for the ultimate gaming setup, or getting set up with a new phone.

It's a fast-paced environment with variety; you should enjoy conversing with customers and ensuring an exceptional experience.

A special interest in technology is a plus.

Qualifications

You must have sufficient right to work in New Zealand for this role.

Ideally you will have :

Proven retail experience

Strong leadership qualities

Commitment to the customer and in-store experience

Excellent communication skills
