Job OverviewOur client is an engineering consultancy firm specializing in integrated infrastructure and urban development.We are looking for a BIM Manager to focus on the SEA Market.Job ResponsibilitiesMarket DevelopmentFormulate and execute BIM-focused platform and consulting growth strategies for Singapore and Southeast Asia (e.g., Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines).
Identify market opportunities and develop new clients (including developers, architectural firms, government agencies, infrastructure operators).
Gain deep insights into the current state, pain points, regulatory frameworks, and digital transformation needs of the architecture, engineering, construction, and facility management sectors across Southeast Asia.BIM Management & R&DTake full responsibility for product planning, R&D roadmap, team management (local and remote), and lifecycle management of BIM-based project and operations platforms for the Southeast Asian market.Define core platform functions, technical architecture, and competitive advantages based on regional market needs and industry trends, ensuring localization (language, standards, workflows).
Ensure timely, high-quality, and budget-compliant delivery of platform development projects using agile and other efficient methodologies.Continuously track and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI / ML in BIM, IoT integration, digital twins, cloud architecture optimization) to drive innovation and iterative upgrades.Team ManagementBuild, manage, and improve the performance of the BIM consulting team in Southeast Asia, covering pre-sales, implementation, training, and standards development.Job RequirementsMinimum Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related fields.At least 8 years in architecture, engineering, construction, or related industries, with minimally 3 years in management roles, with successful leadership of technical teams (platform development and / or consulting implementation).
Has experience in Southeast Asia markets (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand).
Proven experience in leading or participating in the development and implementation of BIM-based project or operations platforms.Proficient in mainstream BIM software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks, Bentley) and data standards / interoperability (e.g., IFC).
