We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring leader with a passion for commerce to lead our commerce / technology learning area.ResponsibilitiesSet the overall direction of the learning area and bring innovative thought to this mahi.Lead your team of experienced teachers in adopting new pedagogies as we align with the curriculum refresh and potential NCEA changes.As a classroom practitioner and leader, you will have experience providing rich learning opportunities at both junior and senior levels, with demonstrated practice in high expectations for akonga, Universal Design for Learning, and critical, culturally sustaining pedagogy.Excellent communication skills and a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the school.Qualifications and requirementsAbility to teach commerce (and indicate subjects you can teach).

New Zealand teacher registration.Experience leading in secondary education.Position detailsPermanent management units : 2PMU and 1 permanent middle management allowance (1PMMA).
