About the role

We seek a versatile and engaging teacher who can effectively deliver Mathematics and Science to students across year levels.

The ideal candidate will be adept at making these subjects relevant and exciting, helping students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

There is also the potential for this role to include a year level dean responsibility for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include :

Designing and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the New Zealand Curriculum.

Assessing student progress and providing timely, constructive feedback.

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborating with colleagues in the mathematics and science learning areas.

Contributing to the wider life of the school community.

The ideal candidate

A registered teacher in New Zealand with a current practising certificate.

Expertise in teaching mathematics and science (please state senior specialist area / s)

A strong commitment to student success and well-being.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
