Our Specialist school has grown in roll, sites and geographic spread. We need to extend our senior leadership roles to manage this growth. As a result we are creating four new senior leader positions. Each senior leader will lead an area of responsibility across the school which will vary as the needs of the school change over time. These senior leaders will be the professional leader of a teaching team of 4-6 classroom teachers. The successful applicants will have 0.5 to 0.6FTE release from class to fulfil their role and receive four permanent units.

Applicants need to :

• have had recent experience as a teacher and preferably as a special educator.
• have successfully led a team in an educational setting.
• have sound knowledge of Te Mataiaho.
