Business Partnership Lead

Team Responsibilities

• Lead a small team supporting city centre businesses through the delivery of Te Awa Kairangi | RiverLink and Infrastructure Acceleration Fund projects
• Champion business needs and perspectives across Council activities and policies
• Lead the relationship with the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce, WellingtonNZ and other key partners on economic development

About The Role

As our Business Partnership Lead, you’ll play a key role in providing a business perspective across Council activities and policies. You will do so by maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, business groups and other stakeholders in the economic development arena. Leading a small collaborative team, you’ll help ensure the disruption from our major infrastructure projects is sensitive to business realities and is proactively communicated.
