Senior Stormwater Engineer

Are you a skilled in stormwater design and flood modelling with a passion for shaping large-scale land development and infrastructure projects across New Zealand?

We're looking for a talented Civil / Stormwater Engineer to join our client's Tauranga-based team, working on both regional and national projects.

About The Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality stormwater design and flood modelling solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects.

These include residential and industrial developments, infrastructure, and public works.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support stormwater design for land development and infrastructure projects.

Undertake flood modelling and hydrological assessments using industry-standard tools.

Prepare technical reports, assessments, and design documentation.

Liaise with clients, councils, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Contribute to national-level initiatives and collaborate with teams across New Zealand.

About You

Minimum 5 years' experience in stormwater design and flood modelling.

Proficiency in modelling software such as HEC-RAS, DRAINS, MIKE FLOOD, or similar.

Strong understanding of NZ stormwater standards, regional council requirements, and infrastructure design.
